Labrador Retriever - Lizzie - Medium - Young - Female - Dog
Lizzy is currently in foster care but will be joining our program around Sept. 15th, xxxx. She has been introduced to the dogs in the current rotation and did quite well but has exhibited some resource guarding with the dog at her foster family. She was relinquished to our program from a home where another dog was aggressive towards her so we're hoping with proper training and time spent with dogs in our program who can provide a more temperamentally balanced example she'll learn their behaviors and become less protective of items. Just in the short time we have had her in to interact she exhibited much better behaviors. She is a nicely built lab/shepherd mix and with the right family has great potential.
